Uniforms

Pack 198 only requires uniforms from the waist up (see below for requirements). Pants can be slacks, jeans, skirts/skorts, or nicer shorts as the weather dictates. Shoes should have an enclosed toe. Along with the items below, all scouts should have the following badges affixed to their uniform shirt: World Crest Emblem, 1910 World Crest Ring Emblem, Pack numerals (1, 9, & 8), Den number, and Longs Peak Council. Neckerchiefs and slides will be supplied by the Pack.

  • Cub Scout uniform shirt
  • Insignia (Pack numbers 198, World Scouting crest, Den number, Council shoulder strip)

Optional:

  • Cub Scout uniform pants/shorts/skort/capris
  • Cub Scout leggings (girls - worn under shorts or skorts)
  • Cub Scout belt
  • Cub Scout hat
  • Cub Scout socks
  • Scout handbook
Uniforms by rank

Specific ranks require different items, as outlined below:

Lions - Lions T-Shirt

Tigers - Blue Uniform Shirt, Orange Neckerchief

Wolves - Blue Uniform Shirt, Yellow Neckerchief

Bears - Blue Uniform Shirt, Blue Neckerchief

(The Blue Uniform shirt can be used for each year as your child progresses, so it is highly recommended that you purchase one size up. ​)
